In Aomori, where apples grow big, sweet, and round,
Takashi found a konbini with treasures that truly astound.
With the Hirosaki Castle's beauty as his morning view,
And the Aomori Bay Bridge in a scene imbued with hues of blue,
Apple-flavored treats filled the shelves, inviting galore,
From apple pie to juice, each one he'd adore!
The clerk then shared something special, adding to the spree,
"Here's our special ringo ame, made with Aomori's finest apple tree,
Taste the sweetness of our land, from the Hakkoda Mountain's might,
To the spiritual presence of Mount Osore, under the moon's light.
A perfect treat for a journey, wherever you may tread, With the flavor of Aomori, a memory wonderfully fed.
We are testing an idea for a children’s book based on the conbini.

Great illustration. Does it have to rhyme? I've only read a few of your posts, but you have a great writing style. Informative comedy. A book like that, aimed at young readers, I think would appeal to a wide market.
Hi guys. Your idea is good. Here are some thoughts based on having a 3 1/2 year old granddaughter who lives in Japan (yes I know that makes me really old and I realize she may be too young for this in any event): Maybe the poem is a bit long. Also, there are a few words that could be difficult; hues, galore, astound, spree, spiritual. I am not being critical of the idea, I just want to be helpful. Maybe for an 9 or 10 year old, something like that? But again, I like the idea. How are you creating the art? AI? I will be in Japan again for about 70 days starting in October. Good work on this guys.
